This weekend we got a Christmas Tree, or ein tannenbaum, if you prefer. As you might imagine it smells nice, is green, and cost too much bloody money. You see where we live it costs extra for the priveledge of wandering through rows of growing trees, finding one that fits in your apartment, and cutting the sucker down in its prime. Still, I don't think I'd ever consider buying a pre-cut tree.

Thanksgiving came and went pretty uneventfully and now it's December. In recognition of the season I've been trying to get Netflix to send me The Nightmare Before Christmas. Apparently everyone else had the same idea since the wait for it is longer than even that lost-nemo-fish movie.
